The Sr Business Intelligence Analyst directly supports the organization's Business Intelligence function through taking the lead on large projects with multiple stakeholders, completing complex analysis involving multiple data sources, assessing opportunities for process improvement, developing innovative use for existing data, developing plans for capturing and utilizing supplemental data, and supporting the implementation of strategic initiatives. The Business Intelligence Analyst has strong SQL skills to pull required data sets, complimented by skills in data visualization tools.


  • Collaborate and support the executive leadership team, as well as other key stakeholders, by taking the lead role in large, complex and cross-functional projects

  • Analyze large sets of data to discover insights

  • Work with leadership to create, maintain, and define KPIs across all organizational departments

  • Analyze current and past trends of organizational KPIs

  • Manage front-end of BI tool

  • Design interactive visualizations that enhance analytics storytelling and communicate business performance

  • Prepare and effectively present findings to business stakeholders, including Executive management in a concise fashion

  • Provide feedback and assessment on data interpretation methods

  • Develops and writes documentation for departmental processes

  • Drives innovation by searching for and evaluating new tools, processes, and ways of thinking about data


  • 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence

  • Strong SQL/database understanding

  • Analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, evaluate, and disseminate information across various areas of a business

  • Experience with a visualization tool to build reports and dashboards

  • Knowledge of statistical tools such as R or Data Analysis in Excel

  • Ability to work independently, as well as within a team

  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills

  • Ability to adhere to deadlines

  • Must be adaptable and results-oriented
